The new Norfolk CC chief executive's appointment is facing scrutiny after the leader received dinner at his hotel and officers allegedly advised against his recruitment.
Labour councillor Cllr Ben Weston revealed the county's Reform UK leader Cllr David Bick and a fellow cabinet member had accepted hospitality at the then local businessman Dennis Bacon's hotel the day before applications opened for the role.
