Burnham under pressure to limit tax

Greater Manchester’s mayor, Andy Burnham, is under pressure to limit his council tax precept.

It comes after West Midlands’ mayor Andy Street settled on a £12 annual precept – the equivalent of an extra 23p a week on council tax.
