Call for council powers on short-term lets

Oxford City Council has pressed the Government for new laws around Airbnb-style short-term lets.

In a letter to housing minister Christopher Pincher, council leader Cllr Susan Brown called for legislation similar to that planned in Scotland giving councils powers to clamp down on the sector.
