Charity applies for judicial review of changes to children's social care law

A children’s rights charity has applied to the High Court for a judicial review of changes made to social care law by the Department for Education.

Charity Article 39 argues that Statutory Instrument 445 laid before Parliament on 23 April was the first public announcement of government plans to make around 100 changes to 10 sets of children’s social care regulations.
