Two councils in England are using agentic AI to deliver back office citizen contact, with Derby City Council running a £7.5m programme, a sector expert has revealed.
Lancashire CC's back office agentic AI operation is deployed for up to 10.5 years through a £4.3m contract with Netcall, said Sam Smith, director of institute at Socitm (the Society for Innovation, Technology and Modernisation).
