Chief on ‘extended leave’ after raising ‘whistleblowing concerns'

A chief executive has been ‘put on extended leave’ after raising concerns with councillors and the police about a council-owned company.

Chief executive of Northumberland Council, Daljit Lally, emailed councillors with what are described as ‘whistleblowing concerns’.
