Chiefs offered 2.5% pay increase

Local government employers have proposed a 2.5% pay rise to council chief executives and senior officers in a ‘full and final offer’.

Employers offered the rest of the workforce an increase of at least £1,290 across all pay points, with no change to annual leave or the 37-hour working week.
