Council launches judicial review over asylum plan

West Lindsey DC has launched judicial review proceedings against Home Office plans to house asylum seekers at an airbase earmarked for a £300m regeneration scheme.

The High Court application also seeks urgent consideration of interim relief to prevent the Home Office developing the site at RAF Scampton while the legal proceedings are ongoing.
