Council reaches £674k settlement with union

An employment tribunal brought by Unison against Somerset CC will not go ahead after they agreed to settle out of court.

The trade union claimed that the council had provided inadequate information to staff when it transferred its learning disabilities provider service to a social enterprise named Discovery in 2017.
