Council to take legal action over Local Plan delay

Stevenage BC will request a judicial review as the Government continues to hold up its Local Plan.

The plan, which was submitted to the secretary of state in July 2016 and received a positive inspector’s report in October 2017, was halted in November 2017, when the Government put in place a temporary legal order to stop its adoption.

Stevenage said the reasons behind the 14-month delay were unclear.
