Councils call for Full Dispersal clarity

Home Office officials this week insisted the department’s Full Dispersal asylum policy was ‘well underway’ despite many councils remaining unaware of local targets.

Local government sources this week expressed ‘dismay’ that Whitehall had still not finalised mandatory regional targets to help spread asylum numbers around the country.
