Councils remain ‘in the dark’ about rehousing thousands of Afghan refugees in bridging accommodation, according to the Local Government Association (LGA).
Chair of the LGA’s refugee taskforce, Cllr Nick Forbes, said local authorities have been left to ‘second guess’ how many and what size properties are required due to a lack of data from the Government.
