The devolution agenda has ‘gone backwards,’ the outgoing chairman of the Local Government Association (LGA), Lord Porter, has said.
In a final interview with The MJ before he steps down, Lord Porter said his biggest failure while in post was not pushing through more devolution – including in his own patch in Lincolnshire.
