Doncaster brought in to review Herefordshire children's services

Doncaster MBC will review Herefordshire Council’s children’s services following heavy criticism from a High Court judge.

In addition to a review by Doncaster of Herefordshire’s independent review officers (IRO), who are tasked with challenging poor corporate parenting, the council will invest an extra £1.6m following senior management changes last year.
