EXCLUSIVE: Government silent on no-deal cloud risks

The Government has refused to reveal if all major providers of cloud-based services are aware of the risks a no-deal Brexit may bring. 

Ministers have warned that a ‘narrow interpretation’ of the provisions in the General Data Protection Regulation could lead to a regulator in an EU country restricting the transfer of UK personal data in the European Economic Area.
