The Government has launched a review of its reorganisation programme, withdrawing decisions on four areas and pausing a further sixteen, it has announced.
Local government secretary Angela Rayner is expected to tell Parliament this afternoon that the review follows ‘updated and privileged legal advice' and is intended to ensure the reorganisation process is legally robust.
