Environmental regulations holding back housebuilding

Environmental regulations are holding back housebuilding, a report by peers has concluded.

The House of Lords' Built Environment Committee said laws such as those requiring nutrient neutrality in housing developments have resulted in ‘effective moratoria on housebuilding’.
