Extra money for refugee trauma recovery

Refugees minister Lord Harrington has suggested additional funding may be provided to councils to aid Ukrainians’ recovery from physical and mental trauma.

The minister spoke in a House of Lords debate called by Conservative peer Baroness Helic, who was herself a refugee fleeing the war in Bosnia during the 1990s.
