Former MHCLG officials mooted for cabinet job

Two former Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) officials are among the candidates tipped to take over from the ousted cabinet secretary.  

Chris Wormald, a former director general of local government, is one of the runners and riders mooted following the shock departure of Sir Mark Sedwill at the weekend.
