Proposals for Integrated Care Systems (ICSs) must ensure money flows are owned in local areas, a local government chief executive has said.
Speaking at The MJ Future Forum North 2021’s session on health and social care, chief executive of Wigan Council Alison McKenzie-Folan said: ‘Obviously we have seen the [Integration and innovation] White Paper, and the forthcoming proposals for ICSs are really important’.
