Gloucester not insured against cyber-attack

A council hit by a costly cyber-attack did not have insurance to cover its costs, it has been revealed.

Gloucester City Council has yet to discover the full financial impact of December’s attack, which disrupted benefits payments and hit its planning service particularly hard.
