Fears that coronavirus could derail May’s polls have been detailed in a letter to the Government from electoral officers.
The Association of Electoral Administrators (AEA) has outlined a string of vulnerabilities where the COVID-19 outbreak could impact on the elections, including those for police and crime commissioners and mayors in addition to local authorities.
