Government call for rough sleeping plan

Council chiefs have been asked to draw up a support plan for rough sleepers who have been put up in emergency accommodation during the pandemic.

In a letter, minister for rough sleeping, Luke Hall, asked council chief executives to carry out a ‘full assessment of your cohort, the options you have available and where the pressures are’ by June 11.
