Government concern over investments focused on two or three councils

Marsham Street is ‘worried’ about ‘two or three’ councils’ commercial ventures, civil servants have said.

Officials from the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government were asked by MPs about the scale of local government investments in commercial property, such as shopping centres.
