Government review into Nottingham finances

Nottingham City Council is facing a Government review into its handling of Robin Hood Energy, over which the authority incurred millions of pounds in losses.

Local government secretary Robert Jenrick said it would be a non-statutory reviews looking at ‘governance and risk management’ but said there could be ‘more formal, statutory intervention’ in the future.
