Greenwich insources services from struggling companies

Greenwich LBC is to rein in operations at its two companies as they struggle to compete in the outsourcing sector.

Fleet, passenger and facilities management services will be brought in-house over the course of three years while the authority will ‘explore options outside the council’ for catering, schools information and communications technology and building cleaning services at GSS and GSPlus.
