Hampshire prepares for public health cuts

Hampshire CC has called for a new model for council funding as it prepares for cuts of almost £7m to its public health budget.

Consultation has ended on the council’s proposals to save £6.8m through cuts to substance misuse treatment, Smokefree Hampshire, sexual health, and public health nursing including health visiting and school nursing.
