Health services' concerns over council cuts

Health services have voiced concerns over local government cost-cutting measures as both sectors grapple with constricted budgets.

Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care Board (ICB) has warned of ‘unintended consequences and financial risks’ in a consultation on Lancashire CC’s savings plans while in Scotland the Midlothian Integration Joint Board (IJB) has refused to formally accept Midlothian Council’s 2023-24 budget offer.
