High costs holding back adulthood social mobility in London

The core cities are generally failing to match London’s performance on overall social mobility but the capital scores poorly during the adulthood life stage, reports Ann McGauran

London is starkly ahead of other regions in terms of overall social mobility with more than three-quarters (77%) of its constituencies among the highest ranked 20% in England.
