Households responsible for 70% of food waste

Households are now the biggest contributor to carbon emissions from food waste, according to latest figures from the Office for National Statistics (ONS).

Released at the start of COP26 in Glasgow, the figures showed that households make up 70% of the overall total of food waste or 6.6m tonnes.
