Under-fire communities secretary Robert Jenrick has insisted his decision to approve a controversial planning application by Conservative donor Richard Desmond was taken ‘in good faith’.
The highly-contentious application submitted by Mr Desmond’s company Northern & Shell, which came before Mr Jenrick in January, had faced opposition from Tower Hamlets LBC.
