Local government secretary Robert Jenrick has expressed regret at meeting and exchanging text messages with party donor Richard Desmond before granting planning permission for the Westferry Printworks development.
The granting of planning permission for the £1bn redevelopment of the site owned by Mr Desmond in January was subsequently declared unlawful by the High Court.
