The Government pledged to bolster councils’ powers to take on rogue landlords in the King’s Speech today.

The Government pledged to bolster councils' powers to take on rogue landlords in the King's Speech today.

It said the Renters (Reform) Bill will make it ‘easier for councils to target enforcement action' and arm them with further enforcement powers in an effort to ‘squeeze out criminal landlords who undercut the responsible majority'.
