The Government has vowed to increase economic growth – but warned the Treasury would prioritise cutting inflation over investments and borrowing – in its Parliamentary programme.
In a King’s speech light on measures for local government, the Government pledged to bring down inflation and ease the cost of living.
Addressing Parliament today, King Charles claimed: ‘My ministers’ focus is on increasing economic growth.’
