Labour leader Keir Starmer has called for the formation of a national cladding taskforce to help households blighted by the scandal.
According to new figures compiled by Labour, 11 million people are affected by dangerous cladding materials similar to that which contributed to the Grenfell Tower fire in 2017, including bills for removal and unsellable properties.
