Labour’s Liverpool review will ‘shake the tree’

The Labour Party has kick-started its inquiry into failings at Liverpool City Council.

Labour’s review of alleged wrongdoing on Merseyside will assess whether any of the party’s rules and practices were breached and will run alongside the early months of the government’s ‘light touch’ intervention across the city.
