Liberal Democrat leadership hopeful Jo Swinson has said that if she is elected to the top role this summer ‘ we will oversee a devolution revolution’ .
Speaking at the Local Government Association conference in Bournemouth, she said that if in Government, Liberal Democrats would ensure more powers for local authorities – with a ‘new devolution model to replace the Mayoral model’.
