MHCLG housebuilding survey met with scepticism

A government survey designed to find out ‘any remaining barriers that may be stifling’ councils’ housebuilding plans has been met with scepticism by council chiefs.

The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) has written to councils asking for their housing delivery forecasts over the next five years and for suggestions about where it could ‘go further’.
