MPs call for flood support

A group of cross-party MPs has joined calls for funding to support areas flooded during Storm Christoph.

Six MPs including former cabinet minister Ether McVey have asked for the Minister of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) to provide funds to Warrington Council and Cheshire West and Chester Council for recovery and to cover costs incurred responding to Storm Christoph.
