MPs criticise ‘glacial’ progress of levelling up projects

MPs have criticised the ‘glacial’ progress of delivering Government-funded levelling up projects.

Mandarins from the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC) faced the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) following a National Audit Office report that found last March just £900m had been spent of £10bn offered by the Towns, Levelling Up and UK Shared Prosperity Funds.
