Mayoral model faces opposition in Cornwall

There are doubts over Cornwall Council’s devolution deal as the issue of a mayor remains a sticking point.

During a lengthy meeting yesterday, councillors delayed a decision on whether to put the mayoral model to a referendum until after a public consultation has taken place.
