Mayors call for self-isolation overhaul

Local government leaders have called for changes to self-isolation payments to increase compliance, but divisions remain over what form they should take.

They have argued that the Government’s extension of the scheme to parents of self-isolating children and further funding for additional support such as food and medicine deliveries does not go far enough.
