Middlesbrough Council is setting up a wholly-owned housing company as it embarks on ‘the most ambitious house building programme in recent history’.
Up-front costs ahead of set-up will be covered using Section 106 money, and the council is putting up funding of up to £10m including equity and loans to develop three council-owned sites.
