Welsh secretary Alun Cairns has outlined plans for a Western Powerhouse similar to local government-linked agreements operating in the north of England and Midlands.
Speaking at the Severn Growth Summit today, Mr Cairns outlined a long-term vision for increased cross-border integration between south-east Wales and south-west England, which he believes could generate significant economic growth.
