Ministers to extend Help to Buy

Ministers are drawing up plans to extend the Help to Buy scheme after housebuilders warned buyers could lose out due to delays caused by the coronavirus.

The government is planning to postpone the December deadline when the scheme was due to expire to enable the construction of new build houses put on hold during the lockdown to be completed.
