NHS trusts lodge business rates appeal

NHS trusts have applied for permission to appeal a High Court ruling that said they were not eligible for business rates relief.

Some 11 out of the original 17 claimants are continuing to argue that they should be treated in the same manner as charities, which receive relief on their business rates of 80%.
