The proposed unitarisation of Northamptonshire has been questioned by Local Government Association (LGA) chair, Lord Porter.
Speaking at the LGA local government annual finance conference today, Lord Porter raised concerns about the sustainability of the reorganisation put forward, which would see the struggling county council and eight districts replaced with two unitary authorities.
