Outsourcers back new recycling funding model

Outsourcing giants have backed moves to force manufacturers to pay the costs of recycling their products.

Amey, FCC Environment and Veolia have come out in support of an extended producer responsibility (EPR) scheme, under which the costs of collection, recycling and disposal of packaging are passed onto producers.
