Paul Carter to step down as leader of Kent

The leader of Kent CC, Cllr Paul Carter, has announced he is to step down after 14 years in the role.

Cllr Carter, who is also chairman of the County Councils Network and deputy chairman of the Local Government Association, has thanked staff and members of all parties, the community and volunteers.
