Planning Bill progresses despite opposition

Scottish opposition parties have called for changes after expressing concerns about the Government’s proposed Planning Bill.

The Bill, which would give the Scottish Government the power to take over underperforming council planning departments, completed stage one yesterday, with the Scottish Greens voting to keep it in play in the hope it can be improved.
